Bastuu Analysis

Vastu Shastra is a traditional Hindu system of architecture that originated in ancient India. It’s based on ancient texts that describe principles of design, layout, measurements, ground preparation, space arrangement, and spatial geometry.

The logic behind Vastu Shastra is that the layout and design of a building can influence the flow of energy and contribute to the well-being of its occupants. However, from a scientific perspective, there is limited empirical evidence to support the claims of Vastu Shastra.

Basic principles of Vastu Shastra include:

  • The rooms of your house should preferably be square or rectangular.
  • Rooms should be airy, well lit, bright, and clean.
  • The center of the house should be an empty space.
  • The best direction for a house to face is northeast.
  • The best door-facing direction for your home is East, West, North, or Northeast.
  • Avoid having the entrance or door facing your house in the South, Northwest, or Southwest direction.

Some signs that your house has Vastu Dosha include:

  • People living in the house are sleep deprived.
  • Constant arguments between family members.
  • A communication gap between the husband and wife or a strained married life.
  • The nook and corner of the house get infested with ants and insects.
